Fisher - Wood Stove Manufacturers
At present, Fisher wood stoves are not manufactured in North America, and so they are not found in the states. These parts are not easily available, so people having older models of the Fisher wood stove, face hard times with maintenance if something broke.

Bob Fisher had designed the wood stove in Oregon in the mid-seventies. He offered licensed designs only to twenty-five steel fabricating shops throughout North America. Around 1980, Fisher Stove International Organization formed some safety regulation acts that were lawed. The stoves manufactured before this date do not meet safety regulations, and most insurance companies insist that the older model of the Fisher wood stove be replaced for safety's sake. Most of the models of Fisher wood stoves after 1980 do meet the safety standards, so they do not necessarily need to be replaced.
